Description
Ruined Portals are remnants of ancient Nether Portals, found in various states of decay. Each has a unique arrangement of crying obsidian and regular obsidian, sometimes forming incomplete portal frames. Different variants exist for each biome, with appropriate blocks matching the surroundings. Some portals are buried underground or underwater, while others generate on the surface. Chest placement varies based on the portal's orientation and location.
How to Find
Ruined Portals generate in all biomes, both in the Overworld and Nether. They can be found at any elevation - underwater, partially buried, or on the surface. Look for obsidian frames with gold blocks and magma blocks nearby.
